ㅤHEALINGㅤㅤclose contact is needed to heal, though it’s possible further away. kai doesn’t have much experience with this, however, and prefers to be closer to his patients. his healing is amplified if alya is with him. depending on the severity of the wound, they either use their own energy to heal and close the wounds ( normally saved for more severe, life-threatening injuries ) or use the patient's own energy to accelerate the healing process ( usually used for deep injuries, but not life-threatening ). whatever technique they use is a case-by-case basis, but they try to do a mix of both, if possible. of course, they cannot bring the dead back to life, no matter how strong their healing.ㅤSELF-HEALINGㅤㅤkai can heal his own wounds indefinitely, both internally and externally, so long as he has the energy for itㅤOFFENSIVE HEALINGㅤㅤtechniques that kai & alya are still learning. overhealing, after all, is an affliction, can cause cancers, clog the insides, cause poisons within the body, a multitude of internal damage.

ㅤSUPPORTㅤㅤkai's main responsibility and role in any fight ( or rather, in the entire gang ) is to be the healer. he stays mostly behind at hq in order to tend to the wounded and very rarely actually go out unless necessary. he and alya's abilities, after all, are the gang's secret and fiercely guarded. but it doesn't mean he can't fight.ㅤCLOSE-RANGEDㅤㅤspecializing in swordsmanship, kai is a close-ranged fighter. though he prefers a sword, he can fight bare-handed just as confidently. he doesn't practice a specific martial art, though he tends to follow krav maga techniques, both for self-defense and for incapacitating opponents. while he doesn't often go out on missions, vesper and casper both made sure he knew how to fight and defend himself. he continues to train just as much as the other members of the gang, if not more. as long as he's alive, he can heal others. as much as he can fight, he tends to be defensive or evasive to better keep healing others.ㅤWEAPON SPECIALISTㅤㅤhe was personally trained by casper with numerous weapons and he is comfortable using anything he can get his hands on, but is most proficient with a sword. he's confidant with a multitude of guns, but he doesn't have much experience with snipers.

ㅤSUPPORTㅤㅤalya's main responsibility and role in any fight ( or rather, in the entire gang ) is to be the healer. she stays mostly behind at hq in order to tend to the wounded and very rarely actually go out unless necessary. she and kai's abilities, after all, are the gang's secret and fiercely guarded. but it doesn't mean she's helpless.ㅤCLOSE-RANGEDㅤㅤalya specializes in using knives, hidden weaponry, and hand to hand. while she was trained by the vesper and others, she surprisingly took to reno's more sporadic sense of fighting, focusing on her speed and agility and the surrounding terrain. while not following a set martial art, she takes many techniques from krav maga and capoeira, both for defense and offense. while she doesn't often go out on missions, vesper and casper both made sure she knew how to fight and defend himself. she continues to train just as much as the other members of the gang, if not more. as long as she's alive, she can heal others. as much as she can fight, she tends to be defensive or evasive to better keep healing.ㅤWEAPON SPECIALISTㅤㅤshe was personally trained by casper with numerous weapons and she is comfortable using anything she can get her hands on, but is most proficient with knives. she always has multitude of them hidden on her person no matter what she's wearing. she's confidant with a multitude of guns, but she has trouble with snipers and shotguns.

The strongest of Karasu’s shadows, Faris is a formidable shadow capable of independent thought & will, completely loyal to his king. He is Karasu’s first line of defense, oftentimes appearing from Karasu’s shadow to protect him if Karasu himself is unable to. His form consists of a tall, lithe figure wearing armor, like a knight, hence his namesake. // FC: Igris ( solo leveling )ㅤSUZAKUㅤㅤshadow summon.
Suzaku takes the form of a large, avian-shaped shadow with long tail ‘feathers’ reminiscent of a phoenix, hence the namesake. Like with Faris, some parts of Suzaku glow the same bright blue as Karasu’s magic, making Suzaku look like he is on fire. He is mostly summoned for ranged or aerial combat where Karasu is unable to fight easily.ㅤSOLDIERSㅤㅤshadow summon.
The myriad of creatures that stay within Karasu’s shadow. Karasu is able to summon any number of them at a time & once appearing, they are like extensions of his will. They will not disobey his orders & can act upon his will even without verbal command. They are weaker than Faris, Suzaku, or his contracted summons, but sheer numbers can always be used for an advantage. At first, Karasu could only summon a few of them at time, but once his abilities & control grow, the number he can control & summon also grows. As of being named the heir apparent, Karasu can summon 50 shadows, all of various shapes, sizes, & abilities.

The wind deity, Amihan is one of the five great spirits, the skies being her domain. Karasu is the first summoner she agreed to contract with in over 500 years & is very fond of him.
